Become a CASA Advocate
You don’t have to be a super hero to be a CASA, however you have to be willing to give your time and commitment to these children. Here are some questions you need to answer to see if this is a good fit for you: Do you have a heart for children? Do you want to make a difference in a child’s life? Are you 21 years of age or older? Can you give 10 hours a month to ensure abused children’s best interests are met? Can you make an 18-month commitment? Can you pass background checks? If you answer yes to any of these fill out Become an Advocate form.
Become a CASA Partner
We depend on community to partner with us financially to support our mission for children. There are many ways to help our program either through financial support or in-kind. It takes all of us to commit and ensure these children do not become victims again. It costs our program $3,300 for every advocate we train and support to advocate for this most vulnerable population. Each year more than 50 new children enter our courts in Franklin County, each one deserving the right to have a CASA to be their voice!
Do you want to help but not sure how? Here are some suggestions below in ways to help our program. We always need places to present our mission.
* Would your civic group or church give us an opportunity?
* Would you like to help with fundraising? We would love to have your assistance.
* Would you want to help us in the office? Are you good with database? Can you fold
newsletters? There are so many ways we need the assistance of the community.
HOW TO HELP
We believe it takes a village(community) to raise
a child. It definitely takes community (you) for our program to continue to speak up and advocate for our most vulnerable population.
Help us by joining with others in our community to ensure abused and neglected children do not become victims again.
